Stop the PRESS! Fancy Fowl USA has changed its name….

For all our loyal and new readers, please don’t panic, all is well and in fact has never been
better! We have decided to change the name of the magazine from FF USA to, ‘The Poultry
Magazine’ as we feel it allows us to reach to a wider audience and is clear to new readers,
exactly what we are all about. Content remains the same but we hope this will give us a wider
scope of cover in the future regarding all forms of poultry and waterfowl etc.

Channing has been to a few exhibitions and has won quite a few prizes with his Polish and his
Shamo Rooster (This was the bird featured on the first issue of the magazine many months
ago)

We have also been made aware that the words Fancy and USA are being used on other titles
in the Animal/Pet magazine world. We are in no way trying to pass off as any other existing
titles so apologies if this has caused any confusion.

This issue sees us working with Tractor Supply stores and their Chick Weeks promotion. We
have added 8 pages to the magazine and produced a Chick Feature to coincide with the
Tractor Supple promotion. The Poultry Magazine will be available in every TS store across the
US so please encourage friends and family to buy a copy. If sales go well in the store, we will
hopefully be able to keep the additional 8 pages for future issues.

So, as we enter the season that brings us new chicks for our poultry hobby, it is a time of
excitement as well as a challenge to get the right results. We watch the new additions grow and
progress into adulthood hoping for that show champion or just for that extra special egg layer.

Each chick develops in their own way and adopt an attitude and vigor for survival in their new
world and strangely enough we as a magazine are following the same pattern.

The support from all our readers is what makes the magazine a success and we take your
remarks from e-mails and letters on board. The comments on the enjoyment you get from the
magazine and especially the photographs is amazing and we thank you for all of this input.

All the best, The Poultry Magazine team.
