29th John Cherry Jazz Trio -As part of the 2010 Thetford Festival, Thetford Town Council presents the John Cherry Jazz Trio at King's House Gardens . Free Admission ~ 2:30pm-4:30pm. Refreshments available, Raffle in aid of the Mayor’s Charities.Contact: Thetford Town Council, Call:01842 754247 30th Thetford Sports Day - As part of the Thetford Festival 2010 a family sports festival will be held at the Recreation Ground, Mundford Road, Thetford. Thetford Cricket Club are holding a tournament which will run from 11am - 6pm. On Thetford Town Football Ground, the guys from Combat Boot Camp will be delivering an 'it's a knockout' event from 12pm - 5pm followed by an awards presentation at 6pm.The competition is open to all teams of 4 and will be timed against the clock in age categories of 5-10, 11-13, 14-16, 16+ladies, 16+men, & Corporate. There will also be a variety of dance and sport groups demonstrations, with a host of 'come & try' activities for all the family from 12noon and throughout the afternoon. The event concludes with several regional bands entertaining us from 7pm - 11pm. Beer Tent, Refreshments and Food stalls will be available throughout the day and evening.
